JAMIE SIMS COAKLEY – Executive Producer/Producer/Director/DP

jamie-sims-coakley-bwJamie is an entrepreneur, musician, and writer with a vast portfolio of creative works, including five full-length records—four with her former band, WAXAPPLES, for which she co-wrote, sang, and even served as manager—and a mixed-media art project called Intersecting(LA), a precursor to The Foo Fighters’ Sonic Highways that brought together her own photography, video, and music into a one-night POP-UP event in Downtown Los Angeles. As a performer, she has shared the stage with Social Distortion, X, The Violent Femmes, The B-52’s, and countless others, and over the last five years she has served as both a P.A. and field producer on numerous film and commercial projects. A staunch lover of the DIY ethos, Jamie has consistently stayed ahead of the curve, pioneering comedic short “viral” videos for her band in 2005 and crowd-source fundraising $7,000 for her album, Glitter and Grime, two full years before Kickstarter was launched.


MICHAEL W. ABBOTT – Executive Producer

michael-w-abbott-bwMichael W. Abbott is a Los Angeles based Executive Producer, Producer and Director of Motion Pictures, Television, Branded Content & Commercials. Michael began his career at Savoy Pictures in Santa Monica as a Marketing Financial Analyst, overseeing P&A budgets ranging from $7M to $18M for the Company. During that time. Michael produced the festival award-winning music documentary on west coast rave culture, “Synergy: Visions of Vibe.” Michael was also a producer on “My Name Is…,” a festival award-winning scripted short film by Don Handfield, which was made eligible for a 2006 Academy Award. Michael then served as an Associate Producer on “Expired,” the critically praised motion picture starring Samantha Morton, Jason Patric and Teri Garr, which premiered in and was sold at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival and competed in  the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Between 2007 and 2008, Michael produced, co-wrote and shot the critically acclaimed mycadillacstory.com series for GM/Cadillac starring Jay Leno, Travis Barker and Tiki Barber, to name a few. He shared directing duties on the Wynton Marsalis and Coach K MyCadillacStory’s, helping guide MyCadillacStory to become the 5th most watched branded channel on YouTube for two years. Michael also produced a series of high-profile celebrity-driven online PSAs for U.S. Campaign for Burma, including a PSA starring Tila Tequila, which has been seen over 12,000,000 times on YouTube alone. Michael’s viral PSA, “The Muzzler 2008,” starring Jessica Alba succeeded with 550,000 Americans registering to vote online in 45 days.


MARC MASCIANDARO – Producer/Editor

A magna cum laude graduate of The College of New Jersey with a BA in English Literature and a minor in Philosophy, Marc has penned three feature-length screenplays and written and directed five cutting-edge short films. His psychological thriller, Impostor, produced in collaboration with Oscar-winning cinematographer Daniel Katz, won Best Short at both the Coney Island Film Festival and the Rhode Island International Horror Film Festival, as well as Best Screenplay at the Real to Reel International Film Festival. A published poet and Directors Guild member, he has art directed for ABC News Nightline, taught screenwriting at ESRA Film School New York, and script supervised on commercial shoots for VH1 and Discovery Channel. Founder of the Manhattan-based Eye Is A Thief Productions, Marc was a finalist in the Disney/ABC-DGA Directing Program and placed in the top five in a national Buffalo Wild Wings commercial competition.


JEREMY MOHR, Hertz Lichtenstein & Young – Production Counsel

jeremy-mohr-bwJeremy Mohr joined the firm in 1997 and specializes in the representation of recording and performing artists, writers, producers and athletes in the music, action sports and branding industries. In addition to representing firm clients in connection with the negotiation and re-negotiation of recording, publishing and other agreements in the  music industries, Jeremy also represents many of the firm’s biggest clients in connection with domestic and international brand licensing and endorsement  agreements for apparel and consumer products. Among Jeremy’s clients are sought after independent music artists who license music for film, television and advertising projects, including MoZella, Donavon Frankenreiter and A Great Big World. After releasing albums on both Maverick and Motown, MoZella is now a successful writer and independent artist, with regular placements in global advertising campaigns and television projects. Donavon Frankenreiter is an independent recording artist, who has financed the recording of recent albums with revenue from international ad placements. A Great Big World gained attention from major labels after licensing their song “This Is The New Year” in the motion picture “New Year’s Eve” and the television show “Glee,” and recently signed a record deal with Epic, as well as a publishing deal with Universal Music. Jeremy is a graduate of the University of Arizona and California Western School of Law.
