Happy Holidays!
Well, it's been quite a busy three months since we launched the new Nadine Records Media "Beta" phase. We have learned a lot of new things, had some amazing conversations and been blessed to be inspired by so many rad Gen Xers!
After trying a few things out and hitting a few speed bumps, are going to pivot/streamline some things for the new year so we can focus on the content that you guys most enjoy and that we love creating. We will have more details of the changes for you in the new year.
But first, Brian and I are taking off to Paris for the holidays to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! Since we run the store and the site ourselves at this phase, we will be shutting down the store for the holidays and will have it back up and running starting after the New Years. You have until tonight at midnight to place any last minute orders before we do so hurry! Also, we are changing suppliers for the digital printing and hope to add some new Cadillac Tramps items in the new year as well as play around with some different ideas for "featured artist" Merch.
I would like to take a moment and thank each and every artist who trusted us with their stories here in the beginning stages of the new build out, every fan who watched content or supported their favorite artist by buying a t-shirt, to everyone who subscribed to our email list, or shared one of our artist features! It has been a wonderful debut and we are excited to work hard and watch this community grow.
The idea has always been to share inspiration and creativity with others and shine a light on all the amazing Gen Xers who's heart and soul goes into creativity wherever they can manifest it and we have been so gratified to know that you love and support this idea too!
We have some awesome new content coming in the first quarter of 2020, including our first music video (for Blind House's song "California Sound"), a feature on a new comic book store in Long Beach (Atomic Basement which opens January 1st, 2020) and it's amazing founder/Comic book creator, Mike Wellman, as well as a special feature on painter, Scott Prior and his amazing work! I am so excited to share all of this with you guys and look forward to getting behind the camera and in front of the computer editing to bring these stories to you.
In the meantime, we wish all of you a wonderful holiday season. We have found letting go of expectations, accepting others as they are and being mindful of gratitude for the multitude of blessings we enjoy, are great ways to enjoy life no matter what madness might find you!
